Served honorably during his 20+ year career.First 7 years as a part of the Strategic Air Command Stationed at Blytheville AFB, Arkansas which is about to become the first Cold War Museum in the US honoring all members of the military and their sacrifice during those6 years. Reassigned to Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico to serve in Systems Command for the remainder of his active duty career. Served in the first Gulf War, Enduring Freedom. Was assigned to the first Airborne Laser program aircraft and served on the flight crew to deliver the plane when it was retired to Wright Patterson AFB. Served on the Big Crow joint services program that was part of the Air Force/Army Computer Electronic Warfare Program until the KC-135 aircraft were retired. Served as a part of the Blytheville Air Force Base Honor Guard early in his career. Received many commendations and special recognitions throughout his Air Force career.
